Look at her .

She has gained a lot of weight and is likely feeling guilty as frick.

I don't forgive her. frick her.

Lower than hell.

I'm just glad I am in remission and gained 20 pounds back. If it weren't for my family I'd likely be dead. That is no exaggeration. I didn't want to live. Thankfully they helped and stayed on the doctors asses to biopsy and do more strenuous tests.

So reading the comments on this thread that are serious is special. Good for those women. Real women.

Yes that is her.

Feel for that dude. I Do. I don't envy him one iota. Hope he doesn't go down the same path.

Has she tried to reach out to you since?

She literally began dating another man one week after she split up with me. One week.

Some cowboy fella. Not the same guy she is with now.

I can't even begin to explain how evil it was. Two sides to every story right?

Nope, straight forward and simple. I was suffering and losing weight in pain and they simply did not believe me. So they quit on me. All of them entire family. Before I left I was an outcast.

Never thought about dying before but I wanted to then.

Well, if what you say is true, don’t give a person like that that kind of power over your life. There are some decent females out there.

Haha, I'm not lying.

Yes it is all true. Truth is my saving grace. Helped in recovery. I knew they were a slime and it helped.

But still it made me a worse person. I was better before but life has a way to make some baws different than before.

So, yes, I am telling that poster he is very fortunate and lucky. It is a blessing and he should not take it for granted (sounds like he hasnt).

I definitely haven't. She came in every single night for 4 months and sat with me until visiting hours were over. Sometimes she came in on her lunch break. Even brought in home cooked dinner so I didn't have to eat the hospital food. I had staff tell me all the time that it was rare to see such a dedicated spouse. I lucked out, no doubt about that.

Now, you a baw I envy

It is stressful no doubt. Those situations are stressful on everyone and you find out about who people truly are at those times.

My problem was the doctors were pathetic in diagnosis. Obviously UC and Crohns is a general be all term describing whatever is inflaming the intestines. Once they found it in 2016 I was able to address it and start remission.

Glad you are doing good and still together with are real jewel.

Reo - have you explored the path of Remicade or Humara?

Reo, I am sorry for your trials. Women will turn their back when it storms in life. Find a good woman who values the human heart and then you really got something

Nope..

Took Entocort EC and Prednisone.

Entocort was expensive as could be. Got it from a Canadian Pharmacy and it still cost a bunch. But it lasts a long time.

I got into remission two-fold:

First I drink kombucha and took a massive amount of Garden of Life probiotics that seemed to reset my bowels. Don't know how it did it, but it did. I also have IBS and still sensitive to gluten, but my inflammation markers have dropped.

Second I believe it was yeast that was my problem and began sticking Boudreaux's Butt Paste from my rectum to anal canal. It seemed to dry out the yeast and allowed healing.

Since then the pain has subsided to the point of nothing remarkable and I have had zero flare ups in 3 months. Gained 20 pounds back from my lowest at 140 (down from 190) back to 160. I'm 5'6".

I hate the disease and would do anything to help anyone who were to ask. I'm a walking almanac of what to eat and not to eat. No dairy EVER. Quickest way to a flare.

Take a look at some biologic treatments. Remicade and Humana also have extremely favorable financial assistance programs.

Those drugs have been life savers for many to get into remission for an extensive amount of time.

Staying in remission is the problem. It was for me for the longest time. It was trial and error. But the Garden of Life RAW 400 billion CFU 5 day emergency care blasted away it seemed all the bad shite and then things all changed dramatically afterwards. Really strange.

I believe in biologica although I never tried them. Never was offered by my gastro.

140 makes more sense for that height

Well best of luck, if you can branch out to see specialist in other areas I would ask about it. RemiStart offers $10k in benifiets per year.

Her loyalty. She stayed by my side every day through a series of pretty major medical events and is still here, two years later, helping with recovery. A lot of women would have walked.

Mine not only stood by me, she gave every doctor the third degree about how to "fix" me.

I went to the ED 10 times in less than 2 months. Without my wife, I might, probably, have died. Her persistence and uncanny knowledge helped give me a correct diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

And she still won't let me piihb. Dammit

I spent the first month in a coma and I heard stories from the nurses about her wrath if I had on a dirty gown, hadn't been moved around, or my lips needed chap stick. I'm convinced that I received the level of care that I did because her and my mom were watching them like hawks.

I am convinced that if family members didnt exist (that demand things get done correctly) the level of care in hospitals is abyssal. Not nurses fault, all the time. They are stretched thin.
