Bruno Mars is a better instrumentalist.
T-Swift is a better songwriter.
Gaga is a really strong candidate for most overall talented pop Star currently, though.

Essentially she started to really pop right in the midst of the millennial teen era. She never fell off, never was controversial, had the cute innocent girl next door look, and is also super talented. Now 10 years later a lot of the millennials that grew up with her have money and the older ones have kids and they themselves are being turned onto her. So now you have a ton of millennials combined with the crossover appeal to Zoomers all mixing together. Millennials also love them some nostalgia which is why we’re seeing band like blink-182 and Green Day headline major festivals despite hitting their peak in the 2000s

Ariana has absolutely insane vocal range. She can belt an octave above Gaga and do whistle tones an octave above that while still delivering strong lows. Ariana is deservingly in the conversation for most talented singer in pop music today. Adele can’t come close to that range.

Her core fan base keeps getting older…but she retains them while also attracting newer, younger fans.
It’s astounding. She’s clearly a brilliant performer. I’m not her biggest fan but I am fascinated as to how so many pop stars age out so quickly while she just keeps getting more and more popular.
