Obviously a typo. I know the house and the people that sold it. But they did make a nice profit because they bought it for like $340k and sold it for $550+

If you’re going to flip the fricking thing at least change out the pink tile and sink in the fricking guest bathroom.

I agree but obviously didnt matter to the buyers. You got to to the least amount of work in to a home and try to get the most amount of profits. If it aint broke, you dont always have to fix or repair it dawg, house flipping aint no game

Ah, thought it went for less, but yes, that's what they bought it for pre-renovation. They got around $550-$600k after flipping it. House has a very odd layout but it is in a great area so I'm not surprised someone forked over that much after a mild renovation.

Uptown real estate prices are insane. A lot of people moving down from up north being able to pay more with money saved from higher salaries inflated due to relative cost of living.

Yeah. I doubt the renovations cost more than $50,000 tops. They basically just painted/frosted the brick white and added some minor interior improvements. Structurally everything is the same.

Edit: Looks like they redid the patio door and windows throughout the house, too.

866%...

Everything re-done except the 50's sink and tile... Nice to see they kept the Terrazzo floors...

Side note... What's up with the sheep thing...?

I gave you your first upvote. These are the kind of posts I like and they usually aren’t well received. I once posted a spambot hot chick on a dating site with the name “Jesus” and got absolutely obliterated for it.

This used to be a great area. It has been romanticized as still being a great area because of centuries of history. The burglar bars on all the windows and doors tell you exactly what the area is now.

No ceiling fans.

Holy crap I can’t imagine living in Louisiana without ceiling fans.
