It is statistical malpractice to take single time frame comparisons between two separate nations and attribute a difference in something to a single variable.
In order to truly establish a causal relationship you need to know:
A) what the homicide rates in Europeans nations would be if they had our gun ownership level
B) what the homicide rates in America would be if we had strict gun control
We don’t have that data
ETA: love the downvotes.

And how many countries are as large and diverse as the U.S.?
Exactly. Rolling back the clock on American gun ownership is a non starter. There is something in the neighborhood of 400 million guns in this country. It's simply not plausible to get them back.

It does not. What I've found, is that your eyes follow the laser dot instead of the intended target. Once you shoot once, that dot bounces up, and then you waste valuable time trying to find it again and put it back on target. Not to mention the fact that his hands will be shaking like crazy.
bingo.
novice shooters also tend to "point shoot" and not even use sights or look for a laser
all this.. only a woman or nerdy fig would even attempt to use a laser. Useless gimmick

You ever heard of the 21 foot rule?

0.
Complete gimmick. Made for dorks like this shooter.
You're right, I guess you know more than SOCom operators and USMC infantrymen.

Well, the very liberal types that want the gun control make their living in Hollywood glorifying gun violence in their movies.
This is what I don't get. Many people against it glorify it in music and television.

I will hang up and listen.

Sure, because they prevent a crapload of crime before it happens yet is seldom ever reported on. Nice try though.

Do you still have dial up Internet? Is that why you have to hang up your phone to read the internet?

That's another thing, law abiding citizens may hand them over, but the rest won't. And that includes people that serve the government. Yeah, go ahead and try.

Being MIL =/= competent shooter. Some of the worst shooters I know are Mil/LEO, and most don't know jack shite about gear - they just know what they're issued
I don't know a of a single SF unit that uses lasers. They'll use infrared lasers like DBALs and MAWLs for NV ops (because they have to - you can't use traditional optics with most NV gear), but that's about it.

The United states is still quite a bit higher in homicides than both France and the UK.
The rate of violent crime in the US in comparison to the UK has remained effectively the same since before the UK instituted its gun restrictions
