According to the sheriff's office, white male shooter killed 3-4 and wounded another 9+. Presumably killed himself too. Rumor is he was a participant in the tournament. Nothing confirmed yet. Supposed to be another press conference in a couple hours.

Went back 4 pages and it’s jusr gun control arguments.
Looks like some guy lost a game of Madden then came back and shot some people out of spite then turned his own head into a canoe.

No guns allowed, and the Mayor of London is on record stating anyone caught with a KNIFE will be prosecuted. Does the tool used in the murder make it better or worse?

Why can’t these people just take their own life. Absolutely ridiculous to take others before taking your own.
This is why I have no issue with people who commit only suicide. Some will call them selfish, but it’s their choice and they are so hopeless they can’t see their way out of it. But to take others lives, my goodness that’s truly selfish and unnecessary.
I can’t imagine the horror and terror of going from playing a video game online to someone opening fire around you.

The most recent records I found for alcohol impaired traffic deaths were from 2016. 10497 vs 11000 for firearm homicides (keep in mind this includes self defense and police killings) so it’s basically equal.

The United states is still quite a bit higher in homicides than both France and the UK.
