I'm my experience, Madden players tend to be African American at a much higher rate than other games. Based on his history, I think that's what he's trying to say...

I've always found the Madden fanbase to be more of the Jock crowd. I've had way more arguements over sports games than others

Not to make this a race thing, but there’s more of an urban presence in Madden, than say Halo or world of warcraft, as one might expect.
Not that that’s what necessarily what happened in this instance. The argument video (if truly related) sounded like a black guy yelling at someone to “back the frick off of him”.
