Love going to HHN, we were supposed to do a Disney Cruise/disney trip the last week of May, but a family emergency came up and we had to reschedule the cruise for July and WDW in October, I’m going to try and sneak away and do HHN again.

They are human in form but lack souls.

Must be summertime. That means autumn is around the corner and we can discuss men who wear jerseys.
I think you mean we can discuss 5-th graders making their middle school signing press conferences.

Can we start a thread inquiring about people obsessed with what other adults do with their time & money

Families with kids can barely afford ticket prices the last 2-3 years so they have doubled down on the adults without kids.

This. Personally I would rather spend my vacation at the FloraBama. Disney people probably don't understand.

That's my gripe with it. Live your life how you want but let kids enjoy these places. Instead it's jam packed with childless adults with Peter Pan Syndrome and a lot of middle class families are priced out or they have to wait in ridiculous lines.

It's like grabbing the last toy off the shelf or going to a Chuck E Cheese and hogging the ball pit all day while kids are crying because a group of "adults" are playing in the pit and they wont get out.

I did that one time and you won’t ever let me hear the end of it.

I have heard the food is good though.

If you know where to go. Disney has school cafeteria food as well as five star dining. So many options!

Nah. I know a couple and the husband I’ve worked with for 25 years. They’re conservative Christians. Great kids. He’s an endurance athlete who bikes and does marathons and triathlons, so not fat and trashy. Pretty successful, probably $150-200k dual income. They’re empty nesters and for some reason they love going to Disney. I’ll never understand it but hey, different strokes man.

I'm pretty sure my sister has taken her family to Disney about 15 times since my niece was born in 2010, but they havent been west of Baton Rouge in her lifetime. Every vacation is to Disney World, sometimes twice a year. I don't get it. For the money they spend doing that they could have been to several countries around the world.

Wait til the Disney obsessed adults have kids who turn into Disney obsessed adults and they vacation together at Disney as a group of, well, those type of folk.

Walt Disney's idea was pretty cool it's just not what he wanted after the company took off and after he was gone.

Despite the politics of Disney, I enjoy going. I don't go every year, and I don't go without my kids, but I have fun when I go.

Disney makes everything perfect, they have fun enjoyable rides, they have good food if done right. If you have the money go and enjoy it. If you don’t have the money you shouldn’t go. Don’t hate on adults for having the money and enjoying something.
