Fox 8 just reported the victim was an adult male and the city is banning tandem floats for the rest of this Mardi Gras season. Big effect on some of the remaining krewes riding tomorrow and Monday

At .15 seconds the second rider on the second float is handing something down and then the victim gets run over and you can see the rider freak out. You have to go frame by frame.

All they have to do is put up some of that orange police netting between the tandem floats. It would look ugly but stop people from climbing between the floats

Fox 8 just reported it on TV. Arthur Hardy said the krewes MIGHT be able to separate the tandem floats and have each section pulled by its own tractor as if it were 2-3 single floats instead of tandem

I am surprised by the lack of people aware of the situation in the crowd. Other than the guy running to flag down the driver, no one else in the crowd seemed to notice what was happening until the riders pointed it out.
