It has all the charm of an east Texas plant town but with a unique Louisiana flare.

Hilarious to me that all the people on this site who live in BR and NOLA love to shite on LC while complaining about the murder rates and midnight drag racing and shite in their own cities. I live here in LC and there aint no way in hell I would trade places with the shite talkers in the murdah cities while I can live my life in a much better town than those hell holes. LC is awesome, yall hate on.

The ground ribeye burger at Cousin’s is fantastic, though it’s an awfully weird place to go to if you haven’t been there.

If OP wants a burger he should go to Prime on country club and get the Prime Burger.

7 oz. of certified angus beef mixed with pork belly for a juicy twist. Served on a toasted Kaiser bun and topped with American cheese, bacon, jalapeño or regular mayo, grilled or red onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Served with fries, chips, or coleslaw. Sweet potato fries available for an upcharge.

Mazens…that’s all I got. Doesn’t look like much from outside but the food was incredible. Seafood crepes were on point

Eat at Calla, Brandon is an awesome bartender and food is solid. Otherwise waste 3 hours at the casino till it's time to go to bed

Picnic at Lorraine Bridge and take a drive down to Lake Arthur. Red Rose is closed but the Regatta will pass the time.

I’m sure that the schools are fine by Louisiana standards but Louisiana standards are bad.

If I were to make a list of the worst places to spend a week in LA, LCH would not be anywhere near the top of that list. There are things to do, get out, drive around and you will find them.

How has LC recovered as a whole, seems like the last few major hurricanes really hit LC hard.

Gin game at the country club is top notch. Also go check out the Caddyshack by the airport.

THE best part of LC is fishing Prien Lake.
Bring your kayak.
