Do you really care if women want to go watch Wonder Woman with other women... only?

Its not retarded at all.
It is retarded when you consider that Wonder Woman is not an exclusionary character as she literally fights for her people in men hating amazons and regular joe men to peacefully coexist with each other.

And she can be those things while being marketed to include women in that audience. No one is saying men can't enjoy this part of the franchise. This is really no different than someone like Captain America being marketed to boys/men. He's not fighting exclusively for men but he's definitely marketed for boys/men (and I'm not knocking that because it makes absolute sense).
The outrage over this is pretty hilarious just because they sought to include/target women in the franchise since the character is female.

Marvel has reduced DC to making chick flicks.

Good thing I identify as a woman despite my really really big penis.

Why do blacks and women continue to "fight for equality" but they are the ones doing shite to bring back segregation?
As a black person, that boggles my damn mind.

In summary:
Warner did a bang-up job marketing this thing. Instead of saturating the airwaves, hitting people that would see this movie anyway, they focused on demographics that are't your usual superhero audience. People that see superhero movies will see this anyway. They targeted people outside of that box. And they killed it with the trailers by not giving away too much. A rarity in today's action movie market.
Women (and gay men) have latched on to Wonder Woman as an icon from the start. This is nothing new.
Women, feminists, and radicals latching onto this film won't hurt ticket sales one bit. People that like superhero movies will see it. Women will see it. Men who want to pretend that they're seeing it for the action but are there to fill their spank-banks with images of Gal Gadot and an island of hot chicks in gladiator mini-skirts will see it. This is a win-win for Warner.
The pool of "shocked" men who were going to see this movie but are now too offended to leave home is infinitesimal. Superhero and action fans will see it. Women will see it. Kids will see it. It'll make a shitload of money. Get over it.

From what I've seen, nah. Looks legit. Gonna take Mrs. Tbird to see it next weekend and I'm looking forward to it.

Scruffy is amazed at the people in this thread who are supporting segregation.
Scruffy thinks it is a sad day for America.

I thought it was common knowledge that "woman only" gatherings make exceptions for tBBC
