I watch NBC nightly news. 21 minutes is enough for me to get what little I need. Not a whole lot of bias there.

A lot of what I would consider independent media libs are on point lately. Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, Jimmy Dore, Aaron Mate, Krystal Ball, Michael Tracey. I think Greenwald, Taibbi, Mate, and Tracey publish on Substack. Dore, Greenwald, and Ball have good podcasts.

There really isn't... Doesn't matter what major network you watch... Fox, cbs, ABC, whatever... They don't really have much time for a whole lot of bias. There are 3-4 segments and a feel good story.

The bias comes in from print, "news channels" and the online presence.you might get a sliver but where they throw in the bias is when u search the subject after watch the short 4 minute informative segment.
That's how this works. There is no need for bias on the 5:30 slot. They want to cover as many segments and cram in just enough info to get you curious to go to the website and get outraged one way or another then you come post it here without searching what other sources/sides are saying. The money is in the clicks. Don't clickity click.

It’s so sad now a days. There are no reporters, it’s all “senior ________ analyst” to give commentary instead of just reporting what happened.

I have to watch BBC America to get any news today. Think about that…I have to watch a British news channel to get news in America. Pathetic.

Newsy is pretty good if you can get it. CNBC and Bloomberg are probably next.

Are we talking TV? The Nightly News shows on the major networks aren't really laced with opinion so they're actually pretty decent for just catching up on what happened on any particular day. HLN during the day for straight news on a loop. Al Jazeera gets a lot of love but I've never watched it. Avoid any and all cable news from like 5pm on...it's all opinion. FWIW, CNN just hired a new CEO who, according to him, wants to take CNN back to their news days rather than hosting a bunch of talking heads who try to talk over one another. Something to keep an eye on, at least.

If you're looking for just straight news on the web, I'd look to AP, Reuters, NPR, the major newspapers (NYT, WaPo, WSJ, Chicago Trib, LA Times, etc.) who,if you just stick to reading the actual news articles, show why they've been around forever and a day and have won countless Pulitzers. If you get into reading the editorial pieces, yeah, biased one way or the other.

I just read WSJ and then in my head I dial back the corporate elitist hackery by about 30% and accept that as close to true

I get it. NBC is going to be biased towards the left. Always has been at least back to the 70's. CBS and ABC may as well be in the same boat since they count as MSM. (This is not 100% my opinion but seems to be the opinion of the PT Board)

They are all run by former Obama staffers so that is why the messaging is completely libtard and completely consistent.

I really do miss Rush Limbaugh.
Been listening to Dan Bongino. He’s ok, but …not El Rushbo
