Some LSU chapter seems to have adopted the practice of blood winging for its pledge pins

Saw some of them walking around last night with blood on their shirts around the pledge pins. Didn't recognize the pins.

Given that LSU will suspend a chapter for making the pledges wear the same shirts, I predict that won't go over well.

What fraternity doesn’t do that? Pretty standard for mine, or at least was.

We aren't allowed to make Marines do push-ups anymore, let alone blood pinning.

Fraternities are for those who need to hang on to adolescence for a little while longer before becoming adults. Just go to class and make your damn grades.

Currently there are 6 out of 21 or so frats that are on probation or expelled.

Dead serious. I know Pike was written up and put on Social Probation a couple of years ago for having the pledges go to a football game in khakis and white dress shirts. That was deemed to be Hazing at the time.

My son was a pledge last year and they had to wear khakis and white shirts just about everywhere

There’s no possible way.

Maybe if they were on some kind of probation or something?

I remember my friend pledged a certain frat his freshman year.

At Halloween the pledges had to carve pumpkins, put them over their heads and run around. The frat brothers would then try to smash the pumpkins off their heads.
