Yes, I put it in main thread but we could use a new thread with positive news
“BREAKING: Coronvirus Outbreak. One week after Italy's national lockdown (8 days after the north), Italy has three days with same number of new cases. This means 5 days after lockdown cases leveled off, consistent with typical incubation period of 3-5 days. This is good news.”

Means nothing without knowing the extent of testing and other details.

That’s good, but doesn’t necessarily mean we see the light at the end of the quarantine tunnel.
So we quarantine for a few weeks, things start looking better, then we end the quarantine and shite hits the fan again? Or are we in this until fricking July, and then we are given a few months of freedom until middle of Fall and then we are back to doing this shite again?

I definitely don’t think they started doing less tests so either way, good news.

Agreed but in most countries, testing is still ramping up which if the case there means it is even more promising.

Cases will still occur after the quarantine. They know that. When they feel the numbers will not overwhelm the medical system things will gradually open back up.

Warmer weather will dampen it significantly, but it could very well become seasonal. We'll survive

And yes, Italy is still screwed for now because the current patients are on vent for long time. Still nowhere to go for new patients

I am baffled how much some of you people want this to be bad. Any good news is met with opposition by y'all while bad news is spread fast and cheered on. It's sickening.

By pointing out that a fricking tweet needs more details before jumping to conclusions?
Really?
Is everyone going fricking crazy?
