One of the wife's friends was over last night hanging out with the wife. She's going through a divorce after being separated for like 5 years or something. I don't know. Weird story. Anyway, she told my wife that one of their issues was he had a crush on my wife. Now, I really can't blame him because my wife is gorgeous and really rad, but I'm kind of pissed she told my wife that. We never see this guy anymore, so no risk of awkwardness, but now my wife is all paranoid she did something wrong to attract his attention.

Probably because this is true. She noticed him looking at her, checking her out and she couldn't resist returning the flirtation. Nothing physical had to happen, but the seed was planted and he obsessed on her to the point that it ended their marriage. Tell your wife that if she weren't so insecure she wouldn't need attention from other men, especially ones that are married to her friends.
Your wife has issues and I would find it hard to trust her in the future. You need to pay attention!
