Some Bama fan is waiting for me at Sonic

So this morning I get a text from an unrecognized number and this person is cussing me out. I was grumpy so my response was frick you. We go back and forth with insults for about 10 minutes.

I finally decide to give the usual OT response by saying meet me at Sonic so I can shove a corndog up your arse. This fires him up and he says which one. My reply was to text back you tell me and he answers Gulf Breeze Sonic at 9:30 and that he will be in the black work truck.

We continue sending insults and he is getting more and more pissed. One of the things he told me is that he was gonna show me what a crazy red neck can do. At this point, I am a bit bored and am done with my fun so stop texting.


After about 10 minutes he proceeds to send me a gif with a red gun sitting on his leg. The gun has a Bama symbol on it and he included a roll tide roll caption. I don't respond because I am a bit freaked out. After a few minutes he sends me another gif of a Sonic parking lot, which I took as him waiting there for me.

WTF????

I was just having a bit of fun with some knucklehead who texted me by mistake. Obviously I feel like a fool for talking shite, but I had no idea that meet me at Sonic was a real life thing. It was my assumption it was just an OT expression.

I am 51 and have never been in a fist fight and I am shocked some gump apparently went to Sonic and is waiting for me at Sonic with a red Bama pistol.

What are the odds this guy really went? Are gumps that crazy?
