Those idiots in Atlanta will look up at it and go blind, so they already canceled school that day.

I can almost guarantee that day we'll have massive thunderstorms and won't see shite.

And it will be nothing like how it is in the path of totality. Prepare to be disappointed.

Unless you're in the red section, the Path Of Totality, it won't make much of a difference.

Praying it doesn’t rain in DFW that day. Local schools have already ordered glasses for the students.

Hopefully Trump will be in a court room so he doesn’t look at it AGAIN, and go blind as well. Dumbass.

Drive wherever you need to in order to get to a location of totality.
We had one here a few years back and it was so awesome the crowd cheered during it. Very cool.

Just some classic democrat retardation right here

Eh it still looks pretty cool at that percentage through the glasses

It was similar in Pensacola for the last one. We spent the day on the beach. The sun was noticeably dimmer and the temps were cooler, but the effect was more like what you'd get with a few clouds. We did the totality in Tennessee in 2017. When it was full, it was like an hour after sunset. The sounds of the animals changed and the mosquitoes swarmed for about 30 minutes.
This time around, we will be camping in the Ozarks.
The coolest effect under a near totality is the shadows. Small shadows of things like lives looked like crescent moons.

15 miles N is all I have to drive. Seven years ago, it was only 10. Lucky me

When that one happened where I'm at it got dim enough to cause my porch light to come on

Last year’s eclipse I noticed the change.
It looked like dusk at noon without a cloud in the sky. Also if you have any spots where the sun shines through something you can see the crescent shadows of the sun.
Where I am located it will be similar in magnitude as the October solar eclipse about 80-83% coverage.

100% correct. Literal night and day difference.

I will be on rooftop of my buddy’s condo in Waco. Perfect spot. Probably rain.
