Huge fail in BR. They could have let the children go outside, it was all clouds. You could barely tell the difference all day. If you had told me it was just rain clouds I wouldn’t have known differently

We drove to Sulphur Springs Texas from Canton looking for a clear spot. It was touch and go, clouds were everywhere. We got to see the totality and once it concluded, there wasn't a cloud to be seen. They instantly vanished. It was the most remarkable thing.

Near total here, about 50 miles SW of Fort Worth. Skies got black during totality, and we could observe stars and two planets. I'm not going to post another picture of the eclipse, but will show how just after totality, shrubbery in my yard acted as a pinhole camera and cast images of the partial eclipse:

Saw it in Indiana, totality close to 4 minutes. Pictures simply don’t do it justice- one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

My son and I drove 3 hours to see it in Indianapolis. It's an image I hope is burned into my memory. It was so beautiful and a reminder that mankind is a part of something so much bigger than ourselves. Thankfully I remembered to take a few moments to look around at my surroundings but found my eyes glued to the sky most of the time. It was also cool to see the "diamond" as it entered totality.

I remember hearing talk of one when I was in grade school, bought the solar camera lens for the one 7 years ago, and finally saw totality today. I highly doubt I'll be in Colorado 2 decades from now so truly a once in a lifetime for myself.

Saw it in Austin. My first one. It was one of the most interesting things I’ve ever laid eyes on. The pictures and videos don’t do it justice at all, so I was kind of dumbfounded at how amazing the sight was.

2017 in SC is something I will never forget. The haters out there will say it’s no big deal or whatever, but if you haven’t experienced it - you can’t explain it.

I really wanted to come out, but couldn’t make it work. I’ve got calendar marked for Madrid in 2026.

This was from West Paducah at 2:00 pm. The naked eye view was awesome. About 2.5 minutes long. It felt like it went from 6:00 to 8:00 in a matter of seconds. Temp drop went from 82 to 68 fast. All the house lights came on.

I was about 10 miles from Billy’s hometown of Hooks, TX today. I can’t lie, I thought of him when I saw that Hooks was just down the road.

I watched it in downtown Dallas. It was truly surreal. The way the clouds disappeared was magical. Great show
