I imagine almost every one of the people in that FB group are Bernie supporters.

I got people in hysterics at work.
They found out I flew on a plane to a vacation this past week.
They're acting like I'm gonna kill the entire workplace.

I’m a cold brew or cold americano taker, and I don’t love their versions to be honest. I was just walking the dog by there. I prefer mojo.

I understand their position but having an employee without a mask kinda rubbed me the wrong way. They lost a customer even if it is an infrequent one

I got kicked out of French truck coffee this morning for not having a mask on

There were no customers in there & one of their employees didn’t even have a mask on lol

I don't think that's true. They probably kicked you out because they knew you were AKA Lester Earl.

You were downvoted because public shaming was old news before you "predicted" it.

I'm in the pro-mask camp, just due to family circumstances and older parents, and it's not that hard to wear one until things settle down...

but damn, Caren is going to 11.

Why is it always the people who have no professional or financial responsibilities dictating to others about their own personal ones?

Well, I'll tell you my theory. Stay at home moms, teachers, doctors and a lot of managers get used to not being questioned. It gives them an unrealistic opinion of their own fallibility. When they encounter folks who are not subordinates they tend to treat them as though they are.

This is not true of all, or even most, of those honorable people, but a small subset gets drunk with power.

Jesus Christ man. Has a free country so freely sped towards authoritarian fascism so quickly?

Social Media is a political upheaval and chaos proponent’s wet dream

We all knew America wouldn’t last forever but I didn’t think my kids would grow up in a dystopian nightmare.

Two weeks ago I would’ve laughed at the thought of an armed revolution or conflict.

But you combine media sensationalism with the high tensions in the general public right now and I’m nervous some kind of armed riot is going to break out in a major city. New York, Chicago, Detroit, Somewhere like that might have legitimate armed skirmishes between militant groups against each other and against law enforcement and it’ll snowball quickly and chaotically out of control fueled by a rabid media and it’s sheeple.

God forbid that happens but it’s more than a distant possibility at this point. Especially as things stay shut down and fear mongering intensifies.

Here’s a scenario that leads to violence: Begin cutting the federal unemployment benefits but groups like this shut down businesses who could otherwise operate and you have a powder keg.

I have no problems if a place enforces this. That is their right and its not that big of a deal to put on the mask.. But if I know I am going somewhere and there are people who are "shaming" people for this... I would really go in with no mask and a sign with my name on it. How is that "shaming" someone?

I talked to Geoffrey and he said stay the F out of his place. Angela said stay out of Mojo as well as stop coming to get your lashes at Chimera on your drag nights.

Society started nose-diving when we stopped punching idiots in the mouth

School bullies were a positive thing for society. It keep kids in line and they realized actions have consequences.

I didn’t get to sip on my few whiskey sours last visit, but yep between the cut and shampoo normally 35-45 minutes. Does it matter whether it’s 10 minutes or 45 minutes?

Worse, way worse, was when we started punishing people for fighting back.

Zero tolerance rules.
