Pineapple and Coconut for $13.... its no wonder millenials are broke and still living with their parents You can buy pineapple juice and coconut milk at Wal mart for 1/4 of that price and get several more servings out of it

Doesnt it work the same way for beer that you could buy at a store, versus overpaying for it at a bar?

If anything this is a great trend for recovering alcoholics but it had to be an article about a high priced bar and they interviewed a butt guy. Too much ammo for these parts.

We’re New Yorkers. We get bored. We don’t want to have just one option.”

My biggest struggle, is I like being out and about. Even solo, I like going to a sports bar and watching the game. However, sitting at the bar, I feel rude not ordering drinks so I end up getting hammered by the time I leave then feel like shite the next day.

I experience the same thing if i’m out at a bar to watch a game or something and not drinking, but i usually just order food, and then tip well.. they dont care what you’re spending your money on, as long as you’re spending it.

If I didn’t know any better I’d think you were a bisexual living in Queens.

How the devil will they pay the rents with this business model? Who sits there and gets tanked on fruit juice?

Everything is going to be expensive.

You think ordering a coke at a NYC club is cheap?

People pay for entertainment. If I budget 25 for some beers on a Saturday night why is it any different to pay 25 for soda or juice.

The point is to be able to go out and socialize.

What people here aren’t getting is that many they live in cities or towns where they enjoy drinking at their home/backyard/patio.

A huge portion of New Yorkers can’t. So, they want to get out of their smaller dwellings and do something.

should be pretty obvious. The average marriage age is way higher than average, and the number of cold days per year is way higher than average. People in New York have WAY more sex partners than in your average other place. The national average is about 7; the NYC average is more than 20.
more reasons why: they make more money, and live closer together
