The whole Costco requiring people to wear masks to come in but got me wondering what they are doing about people touching their gas pumps. What about other gas stations?

I’m not saying that all of these “safety” measures are bullshite, but quite honestly, most of them are the virtue signaling bs - particularly the “no contact delivery/pick up” variety.

Costco workers wipe the pumps after each customer. They're not Walmart.

I don't know what they are doing, but I'm using a plastic bag whenever I get gas.

You’ll not hear me bitch about people cleaning too much. That’s never going to be an issue for me. I HOPE this becomes the new normal.

You should do this anyway. Gas pumps are disgusting.

If that virus can hang out on a gas handle in the Louisiana heat and sun with those vapors, we are screwed.

I haven't noticed any gas stations doing anything outside at the pumps.

Is it really that complicated? Pump gas, hand sanitize...

Just use a fast food napkin from your glove box. That is what I do if I am concerned about opening a door or pumping gas.

Absolutely amazing people think it is bad to be cleaner. Maybe that is why Louisiana is a dump.
