I don’t believe all of this hyper vigilance is necessary but if it makes people feel good it’s a free country (well, becoming less so...). Now, if you’re going to mean mug me for not following suit, then I have a problem.
I will give props to the Costco gas station attendant for keeping the dispensing equipment clean as a whistle even before the pandemic.

We all know it’s absurd inconsistency in every way. You can go in these places at will. You can go in these places, but only with a mask. You can’t go in these places at all. You have to stand behind this line to maintain social distancing, but we’re all gonna rub all over the same keypad at the register.

I wear a rubber work glubb and toss it behind my seat. By the time I need to fill up again, anything on the glubb is dead.

The workers at Costco in Lafayette wipe every one of their shopping carts with the same disgusting towel. I see it every week there. Started bringing my own Clorox wipes.
