But, yes, the above is an oversimplification. Because the reality is that sexual abnormality probably does correlate to varying forms of deviancy

That’s because most people consider any sexual abnormality as sexual deviancy

quote:

I don't know if that's innate to the abnormality or something socially-driven.

It’s 100% perception. There are thousands of pedophiles and rapists that live their lives as just normal People. The Doctor molesting all the gymnasts wasn’t trans. Sandusky was had a wife and kids and was a football coach.

quote:

But the urge to have cross dressing weirdos read to small children is not normal or ok, for example.

Most drag queens aren’t actually trans. They’re gay, and do drag.

quote:

So while I have no desire to treat trans folks like perverts, I'm also not going to test the case with my children.

I get The urge to protect your kids, and I’m not saying you should have to take them to a drag book reading. But if you’re not taking the same precaution with everyone you give access to your kids you’re in trouble.

Bingo.
We have always had trannies, we have always had gay people. Most people don't care as long as you don't force shite on other people.

People are just pushing back because progressives are drawing lines in the sand and call you "transphobic" if you disagree with their precious little pretend she men.

By all means, with the exception of Fox News and Chick-fil-a, tell me the major media/corporate/academic/educational institutions promoting these viewpoints.

Well, that an trying to expose children to sexuality at very young ages through cartoons and even in the classroom.

90% of the topics here are of conservative nature and I typically am gravitated to debates, so you are not going to see me hop into a thread and say "I agree with this!" because I find it boring and repetitive

and most of the "conservative" threads in which I disagree are more of the social kind, and I'll definitely agree that I lean more left when it comes to social topics

but that doesn't negate all my far more important beliefs towards actual policy, which are almost all to the right

I have plenty of times (see most any COVID threads that isn't a dumb conspiracy theory), you just don't notice because my voice is just another in the echo

People who aren’t trans can molest your kids.

People who aren’t gay can molest your kids.

If you want to protect your kids from
Pedophiles, you need to take the same precautions with almost everyone you trust with your kids. Otherwise you’re kid could end up being diddled by your priest of the Penn State Defensive coordinator.

Is that hard to understand?

It's hilarious to watch these people act as if the left is constantly trying to fight their way out of a corner in modern America.

The vast majority of trannies have a mental health problem
Ok. Did the mental health problem cause the transgenderism, or did the transgenderism cause the mental health problem? Can an intolerant society exacerbate mental health problems?

is suddenly being foisted upon society as if it has always been acceptable
That's how "movements" work. Nothing changes for a long time, then it changes all at once.

Also, when has respecting people for who they are not been acceptable to you?
quote:

Being uncomfortable around trannies is nothing to be ashamed of. It is natural to be freaked out by freaks. That's how evolution works. We've moved past that in a sense, but that doesn't suddenly remove our naturally occurring aversion to freaks. People with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder freak me out just as much if they aren't getting help for their condition.
Sounds like a you problem, but what "help" would you recommend? Drugs? Surgery? Emotional support from family, friends, and maybe even society, perhaps?

exactly! i though all that was fairly common sense as a parent. but i’ve learned otherwise by some
of the “acceptance” comments in this thread.

However, there are things that I would definitely (tranny doctor, etc) avoid like the plague.

My primary care physician is trans. True story. She is a great doc who is pragmatic, straight forward and brilliant. I chose her because she takes great care of her pts at our hospital. If I had gender issues I may have chosen differently because of a clear bias but her judgement is not clouded on health issues due to her own gender choices. I can’t say that would hold true for all trans docs but in her case it does.

That's part of it. Line drawn in the sand. If you object to trannies going into your elementary schools to indoctrinate kids they label you transphobic. frick that, and I'll confront anyone who supports this retarded shite.

Salmon cannot understand this. Probably got a wife who is bat shite crazy and influencing him. He's a closet prog.

I live in San Francisco…it is likely the Mecca for trans physicians.

You can disagree with the assessment but don’t call me a liar.
