Does suing someone who doesn't have insurance or shite to their name net you anything?

The cops wrote a bullshite report and didn’t assign fault. They didn’t bother talking to the eyewitness. Now I’m about to be sued.

If he won't do it, make a video on Youtube. Works in Northwest Louisiana every time.

Yeah my wife's uncle was killed last month by a lady who ran a red light and hit his motorcycle. She's uninsured and poor as frick. The lawyer told them they would be wasting their time.

Just be thankful you’re okay. I will say a prayer for you tonight while I’m eating crawfish.

I’m sorry to hear that.

I can’t stress enough how important UM coverage is for situations exactly like that.

I’ve gotten past the threshold once. Brain injury with minimum limits. I bail/pass on 99% I come across though

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.

Besides the no pay no play statute, also assert the equitable doctrine of unclean hands in your responsive pleadings.

My wife is an insurance agent and always told me that you didn't need UM unless you don't have full coverage. She said the only downside is that the claim counts against you

Look at your dec page (if you have UM) and see how much UM coverage costs versus liability. It’s a fraction. Carriers don’t like it because the premium is less but they still have to have the limits in reserve. I’m on the hunt for that smoking gun document from the carrier to the agents telling them to steer folks away.
