You don’t onow him. Maybe he is a nice, religious kid.

Maybe he is less mature than grade and relates to her.

Stop making assumptions.

Real talk right now. If you're just now worrying about it, it's too late. The die is already cast.

She's gonna sleep with dudes and your sons (if you have any) are gonna bang chicks. Everything in their biology drives them to do it and, here's the kicker, THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. It's natural. The best any father can do is to be frank with their kids BEFORE it's time to worry about condoms and birth control so that when the time does come they're more likely to make good, safe decisions that keeps them healthy and sans babies as they start integrating sexuality into their lives.

Now, back to your normally scheduled OT a-hole.

Not that it wasn't already common knowledge, but you've confirmed being an idiot by this take.

You think a dad not allowing his 15 year old daughter to date an 18 year old boy, legally a man, makes him an idiot.

Well, speaking of things being common knowledge, I’d say your take on the matter confirms you’re nothing more than a kiddy diddling, perverted, pedo sick, piece of shite.

Then there is a 100% chance that your 15 year old daughter f**ks an 18 year old when given the opportunity. I heard way too many stories from teenage girls from divorced households with daddy issues banging guys just to piss their dad off. The best story that I heard during my observing adolescent psychology therapy sessions was one girl said that her father used to write "have fun but be safe" on condoms and then give her the condoms before a guy picked her up. She said that it brought her closer to her father because she felt like she could talk to him about stuff (which really helped with the daddy issues) and weirded her out so much that she would not want to have sex that night. However, she totally banged the dudes brains out when she got back to her mother's house.

Long story short, dads you cannot stop your teenage daughters from having sex, because trying to stop them from having sex will just guarantee that they have sex. However, you can stop them from getting knocked up or getting the herp.

Op obviously has a shitty relationship with his daughter if he fears saying something will result in her staying with her mom and about to have a stroke because his daughter is out on a date.

Why subject your daughter to you being a dickhead over a year of high school?

If an 18 year old is interested in her for reasons other than just easy sex, I’m sure the school is filled with 15 and 16 year olds that would love to take her on a date. Tell her to pick one of them.

I don’t know if you’re a parent or not Mingo, but I have been for over 15 years. You can be the total opposite of a dickhead and a teenager is going to think that’s what you are the first time you tell them “no”. Par for the course.

This guy may be a great young man with a bright future with no ill intentions but we ain’t finding out. 15 is too young for an 18 year old, in my opinion. To each his own though.

Dude how about having a legit talk with your daughter that is nearing adulthood instead of posting on the OT? Maybe 5 percent of what you say sinks in now. Maybe it takes a few years to sink in. But if you approach it as a loving and sincere PARENT wanting the best for their child at some point it likely will.

It will likely have little impact on the mistakes she’ll likely make in the next few years...but maybe that talk and future ones will prevent smaller mistakes from turning into more or larger ones.

Good thing you don’t know what the frick your talking about.

If you think all children, yes children, fit in that nice little narrative you have another thing coming.
