When did corporations ever NOT seek profit? Why is it magically different now, commie? How is it that all problems come down to profit-seekers that make goods/services and you hold your tongue for any and all judgment against the people who make millions doing absolutely nothing at all (politicians).

The poster you quoted was pretty clear. The issue is not simply seeking profit - it’s the fact that they are making record profits and that’s not enough, so they have to find ways of making even more.

Communism means that the governments owns and controls the means of production. A mixed system that combines free market principles with limited regulation is not the same.

For someone who spent the last 4 pages telling us how old you are and how you lived through everything, surely you would have been smarter than to walk yourself into a closed door. Your above statement is the exact statement that Jimmy Carter made almost 50 years ago. He even put solar panels all over the WH to show that solar would replace fossil fuels in the years ahead lol. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth. Maybe it's time you stop yapping as you clearly have no real life experiences to draw on, your plethora of posts read more like a copy n paste AI bot type think-tanker.

I am aware, Mr Jimmy was the last truly religious POTUS we had. I worked with him in the early days of Habitat. He was also a former Navy guy and quite a bit smarter than I was for sure.

Correct, I am also aware. Then Ronnie went to the White House and took them down. I am much more connected to both of them than you can imagine as back in the day we actually went out and did things in real life, not parrot crazy talking points from our mom's basement.

This from a person whose collective posts are regurgitated stuff I can hear on AM radio any time of the day. If you believe what you say then you have past the point of no return and if you are just trolling, do you have nothing better to do in real life?

keep on voting! However you vote determines the outcome of how great your life will be.

If you love everything happening in the USA and love paying high prices for everything, keep voting Democrat.

Not exactly

When your choices of phones are Apple and Google, that is not free market, that is a virtual monopoly.

When your social media is designed to limit competition, that Is not free market

Our markets were more free from the 50's to the 70's but since have become anything but free.

He is not going to prison, and as of now it is a coin flip as to his return to the White House

We live in a society today where "celebrity" and "massive wealth" gets a person a whole different level of treatment than the rest of us US citizens. You have effectively been sold this message if you think Trump's booking in Georgia was any less.

It Trump were convicted how would he serve the time? Not like he is going to a place like Angola, more like a place where Martha Stewart went. At that point he has a Secret Service detail, what prison in the United States is set up to deal with even this.

In the end, he will have to make a deal, and it will not be like any deal you or I could get.

The bigger question is why, since 1980, are we having to vote on the lesser of 2 evils and not a fully qualified representative of the taxpayers and citizen?

I feel like people spend an arse load of money on frivolous shite. How does instacart and door dash even exist? You’re paying 15$ to have 30$ worth of groceries delivered to your house? I go to Huddle House for breakfast and there’s a door dash counter with people lined up. Seriously? We have money to have people deliver us ten dollar plates of food, that could be made at the house in about 5 minutes, but we also like to complain about not having money?

I think fighting inflation could start with a little more frugality from the groups it affects the most.

Bc someone who truly cares and a representative of the people isn’t part of their plan. And these types never win elections, anyway. Look at local elections. Someone who wants to do the job, yet unknown or not well known, never wins. It’s always known, even if scum.

Energy costs are directly related to Biden’s inept policies. Energy impacts food, food cost are thru the roof.

His admin is absolutely responsible for energy and food costs spiking.

They try to exclude those 2 to gauge core, that’s nice but we are stuck with the bill. Our energy costs have soared 50% since boZo and his crackhead son arrived.

I find it hard to believe that 17 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in the US is created by geothermal.

Spot on. Then think about all the household products/plastics etc that are also made with O&G. It's typical Dem fuzzy math that they try to exclude those 2 (energy and food) like you said. Two separate costs that a human uses multiple times a day to live and survive.

If Trump had the media in his pocket running PR for him he may have the largest margin of victory ever.

Biden is fraudulent shell
