Also what difference would it make if we have to look for another tiger in a few years?

Since the team is the Tigers, why not have more than 1?

I could get on board with using Tony. It doesn't have to be a cub that comes in. Saving Tigers in squalid condition and branding them for LSU while giving them the best vet care in the country and pimp enclosure should be LSU's mission.

There should be only 2 requirements:
1. Is it a real live tiger?
2. Will it get in the trailer on game day?

I'm absolutely for this. Pay whatever the piece of shite owner wants and honor that tiger. It would be an easy thing to do and would greatly improve the public perception LSU has for keeping live mascots if we rescue one who has been in the conditions that Tony has.

He may not be Mike for a long time but the positives outweigh the negatives.

I don't see anything wrong with adopting Tony, he needs a good home.

I'm for it if it prevents the owner from maintaining his permit and purchasing or receiving any more tigers. I would not be happy if we took Tony and that dbag uses his permit to buy a new tiger cub.

I have a buddy from college that would argue with you to add an egg salad sandwich. (Especially at 1:00 AM)

As a WASP and LSU Alum I'm not in favor of an ethnic Tiger.

If ever there was a tiger in need of rescuing, it's Tony. I wanted to cry when I saw what he was living in. I wish we could save him and adopt a young tiger too. Can't have them in the same cage but I bet enough money could be raised to build a second habitat for Tony. We are the Tigers, after all.

I think LSU would look like hypocrites if they rescued another Tiger from some facility, while Tony lives 20 minutes down I-10 in squalor..

They need to take that tiger away and inspect the bathrooms at that place.

LSU will not pay for / buy a tiger. They only accept donated tigers. Something about not being part of illegal tiger trafficking

So what if we set up a gofundme to buy him and donate him to LSU?
