What's the worst that could happen?

They won't be going after Tony. They will go after a younger tiger with certain personality characteristics and situation. Trust them but don't be impatient. It will take time.

No one wants to watch Sigfried and half of Roy. Doesn't seem right.

Why not two? Male and female? Or does the male injure the female unless it mating time?

All it takes is one time of little junior walking by and seeing mike mounting mikette in the cage to do the damage...

Nah, just tell them they're playing piggyback. I suspect it is easy to tell when that event might occur in Tigers anyway. When it's time, keep them separated during the day. It would be cool if "Mikette" was pregnant. Think of the hype and attention. Then all three of them could not load to go to the game, like a family.

While I find the conditions Tony lives in pitiful, he's at least 15 years old. I'm not sure what the life expectancy of a captive tiger is but I can't imagine he has many years left.

May be a good gesture to let him live out his days at LSU; but, it seems like we'll be searching for a new tiger soon thereafter once again.

That guy has been to court numerous times to keep Tony. He isn't going to donate it. Tony is destined to live out his days at that truck stop.

don't know what kind of "mileage" that guy gets out of his Tigers living in Tiger squalor, but we don't seem to get very much from ours living in Tiger splendor

talk Michael Sandlin at the Tiger Truckstop into donating his tiger, Tony, to LSU.

@ thinking Michael would even consider donating his tiger.

Did people forget what Mike lived in nit that long ago?

Save Tony!

ETA: That cage reminds me of one I saw when I was a kid living in Vidalia. There were some deer living in it somewhere around Ferriday. We used to stop and look at them. People were always feeding them cigarettes like that was a good thing. Every time we went I was always disappointed that no one in our family smoked.

Anyone know why people might have thought feeding them tobacco was cool back then?

Couldn't have been as cool as giving the monkey cigarettes.

The Monroe zoo had their monkeys on an island!

Monkey Island was where every kid wanted to someday go.

inspect the bathrooms at that place

The bathrooms are disgusting. Was in a bad way and went in to take a slam but couldn't do it. It was bad enough to not even want to piss there. Will never be back until the tiger is gone and bathrooms have been burned and rebuilt.

That trashball piece of shite Sandlin would never do something as noble and merciful as donate the tiger. LSU would have to buy it. Which I I'm all for. LSU gets a tiger and Tony gets some comfort. I don't know what's so horrible about Tony being old. TAF has plenty money to buy a cub once Tony dies.

He's been Tony too long. We'd never get him to answer to Mike.
