They're doing it in my hood too. Nice to know my neighbors aren't the only trashy ones.

Honestly, I don't mind the act of shooting fireworks. What I do mind, is the numbnuts who lights $100 worth of bottle rockets in the neighborhood behind mine, and 50% of what he is shooting up in the air lands in my yard for me to walk around and clean up a week later. Happened to me on July 4th. I'm gonna have to be the a-hole who confronts somebody this time. When you shoot fireworks up in the air, please be mindful that they're going to land in somebody's yard.

You frickers with fireworks can go stick a roman candle up your arse. So trashy. Inconsiderate and just flat stupid

roman candles can do some damage. One year some of us was in my paw paw's barn and one of our cousins had just arrived and he was running to the barn with a full bag of fireworks. One of our older cousins lit a roman candle and shot it at the cousin running to the barn.. It hit his bag of fireworks. He dropped it, took of running the other way crying with all the fireworks in his bag going off.. It was pretty fricking funny.

since when did fireworks become a Christmas thing?
Trash can't wait the extra week?

Fireworks? On Christmas? That sounds like a redneck thing.

It's time to leave Livingston and Ascension and come back to St George. Didn't you get the memo? My neighborhood is as quiet as a mouse.

You mean the same Ascension Parish that's about a 30 second drive from St. George on Old Jefferson?

When I was a kid, part of the fun of Christmas eve was the big family gathering which including me and all of my cousins having firecracker wars. Every year someone would get hurt (not bad enough to have to go to the hospital or anything), but I am pretty sure fireworks and Christmas eve has been a thing for awhile.

The loss of the use of your legs isn't bad enough to go to the hospital?

You grew up ROUGH.

I don’t know what’s trashier, shooting fireworks on Christmas Eve or making fun of a disabled person

It's called treating people equally. And if history is any indication, Chris isn't a snowflake and will laugh at this.

Now, kindly frick off.

As Jim Rockford, a faithful reader of the Advent Pilgrimage, already stated Southerners have shot fireworks since colonial days. I agree with you that it’s trashy.

Guess I didn’t grow up in a trashy enough area . Didn’t start by me until the Hispanics moved into Louisiana after Katrina

fricking aggravating. Trying to get kids to go to sleep and these trashy motherfrickers got it sounding like it's the Tet Offensive out here.

Can't get the dogs to settle, kids can't sleep. I'm moving to Wyoming.
