Bored tonight and cut the cord. Watching now.
It’s perfect diversity. Every group nominated and every group who wins has at least one Asian and one black. I feel so great.

You must be young. They did a tribute to Biz Markie who died this year. The “shitty rap song”, “Just a friend” was a huge hit.

Emmys came on after the football game that i was half watching, went back over to the tv and watched it for a couple of minutes, cringed hard and debated chugging bleach, turned it NBC for the sunday night game

Right. And it was never intended to be sung by a bunch of mainstream Hollywood actors as the opening to an awards show where everyone is trying to outdo the other guy with their fake happiness and over the top exuberance.
Biz is rolling over in his grave.
