No matter where you go you’ll have to put your future kids in private schools.

If she’s a pharmacist and you work for an oil company, shouldn’t she just find a job where you have the best opportunities? Pharmacists can find a job anywhere.

Not in the suburbs. The same can be said for almost any city in the South. I wouldn't put my kid in HISD. Or inner city schools in Little Rock, Jackson, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas etc.

Mid city. Never far away from any kind of shop or restaurant you might want. Traffic is a tiny bit not-as-bad in south BR/st. George but you’ll have to drive a little bit further to get to some places you’ll need/want to go.

Pretend North BR doesn’t exist. From mid city you can get to LSU, downtown, south BR, or east BR fairly easily.

This is like saying "Pretend Chernobyl never had a meltdown. You should live right next to it."

Have a buddy who lives in the Country Club of Louisiana. If you can afford it, he says it’s worth the extra bucks.
