So I'm watching When Harry met Sally and I began to wonder

Is it really possible for men and women to be JUST friends without any sexual attraction as they mention in the movie. It seems for women that it can happen, but for men, they are usually going to be attracted to the woman at some point.
So what does the great and wise OT say

- Nah they end up fricking

- The man gets put in the friendzone

You can be friends with a woman without the sexual tension if it’s a good friend’s girl and that’s your code, or if you’ve already banged her.

If they are both attractive they will frick. If the female is attractive, the guy will want to frick her. If she is not attractive, he probably won’t be her friend, but if he is he will want to frick her.

You know my dearest gal pal. She's damned cool and attractive and I would never touch her. Granted, she's married to the Oregon State Streaker but we were friends for 10 yrs before that.

I have many good friends that are girls that I haven't fricked. Most of them are very attractive. I would frick them if they asked, but I probably know too much about them at this point to want to date them.
Its not that hard to look at them as just people that I like and care about as friends instead of female frick dolls. There are other females for that.

You didn't state it quite right. Harry's assertion was that if a guy is sexually attracted to a woman, he can't really be friends with her. And it's obviously true.
However I've gained a bit of perspective. I'm very close friends with an ex-girlfriend. I'm still attracted to her, but the vibe between us is "been there, done that" and there's no tension at all. So I think if you've already sampled the goods, you can indeed be friends even if you still find them attractive.

also, it is an excellent tool in that I've gotten lots of arse via their various girlfriends.
