Ah yes. This is the thread to mark attention whoring. It's not possible that maybe I could get some information in here about how to quit, whether or not to quit, how to approach new employers, etc. No, that's a real long shot.

Go frick yourself.

He works for blockbuster and there was a big scandal about employees purposely not rewinding the DVDs

There the cats out of the bag. Let the healing commence.

What magazine are we talking about here? I'm going to stop in for groceries in the near future.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Hence why I didn't name it.

And damn you Bacon. Our first motto was: Be kind, rewind.

Our second was: be kind, shut your whore mouth.

If you're not directly involved in the scandal, then don't quit, but quietly look for a new job. Actually, now that you know theres a scandal about to hit the fan, you can sand bag it big time and pull in some cash. Unless, of course, they're going to be bankrupt.

I would wait to quit. You can tell your new employer you were trying to be loyal even though your employers were shitebags before your time there.

OP should be banging as many female coworkers on the way out as possible.

Biggest mistake he can make is not banging them.

I wouldn't even entertain him, nothing makes sense...

But it's not a large company, as you claim. Small enough that it's possible for you OT sleuths to maybe figure out who I am, so no thanks.

He won't say who he works for, but his company was big enough to be put on the cover of a reputable magazine, but small enough that someone would figure out who he is....

In his OP he says he wants to find another job, but wants to also get further away from 'this situation'.. How much more distance do you need than actually quitting??

LMAO wtf man

It comes across as attention whoring because you're asking how to "distance yourself" from this company that you're already planning to resign from. What kind of answers do you honestly expect? Get it expunged from the record that you ever worked there? Then you'd have a gap in your employment history. "Distancing yourself" from it is not feasible.

And nice subtle brag about WF. Not "the grocery store"...specifically Whole Foods. Now we can all go there & take a look at the magazines. We'll have you ID'd by this time tomorrow.
