Low voter turnout is a problem. Democracy works best when the majority of the citizenry takes an active interest in voting.

I had little idea that there was even a vote happening. Heard nothing about it except on here and a few vague signs strewn around BR

I voted, when I pulled up to the place my fav song just started, no one in front of me, cast my vote and the song was just ending when I got back to the car. Easy, Peazy.

I early voted at the fire station on Coursey. I think I was 2nd in line. Took less than 5 minutes.

Faulty logic. Silence is tacit approval. If you don't participate, even to just choose the lesser of two evils, your complaints become meaningless (especially considering how easy it is to vote).

I actually got that from a George Carlin video on Youtube today. That was his logic.

Hopefully voter turn out is higher when we vote to incorporate the City of St. George.

Everyone pays a sales tax. (For the most part).

Groceries, medicines, and utilities are exempt. So it is mostly taxing non-essential spending.

We Voted last week when nobody was at the Archives Building. So nice and quick voting early.

I voted for Ardoin, Bargas, No to MoveBR, Yes to Mental Health Facility.

Am I cool?

I usually early vote at the fire station on Coursey. Even for the presidential election it was under a 15 minute wait.

We need one election day per year in November.

If we are going to continue with this nonsense of having random election days then if less than a quorum votes then another vote needs to happen and on the 2nd vote a quorum wouldn't be needed.

That is the proper way these things should happen. It is very sad these things are allowed on random Saturdays.

Lost faith in the system. A no vote with shitty candidates is more valid than voting on shitty candidates

Or you could just vote on the tax proposals.
