You're incorrect, and your knowledge of business is weak.
Companies have wide latitude in terminating employees that express extremely controversial views in a public space, especially when they can be easily affiliated with a company or public entities.
Celebrating the murder of a public figure is not illegal, but it will get your dumb arse fired and there isn't a dann thing you can do about it.
It doesn't matter which side of the aisle you're on, no company wants to hear or see that crap
We're in business to make money, not coddle some whining pantywaists.
Seems most of these poele don't have jobs if you don't understand this.

If people cant see the difference in people getting fired for saying things like "All lives matter" or an off color remark made 10 years before and people celebrating the murder of an innocent man, they are pretty stupid.

Companies have fired people for much less than openly celebrating the assassination of a political figure. The fact that it happened en mass doesn’t mean it’s suddenly a change in policy or that cancel culture has ramped up. It’s just that a lot of people thought it was cool to say some really stupid and hateful shite online that employers rightfully don’t want to be associated with.

George Floyd was objectively a complete piece of shite human and yall expected the world to shut down to celebrate him. So you've now tried to equate CK to St George and Bin Laden. I bet you're baffled why you're losing the culture war
Honestly I struggle to see how “common ground” can be found when member’s of the Left can’t see the difference.

I don’t want pilots and nurses who wish me dead to have jobs.
Sorry not sorry.
I don’t want teachers wishing death on people to be teaching kids, especially conservative kids.

Or, they are low-level drones with no expectation of leadership or being given any responsibility.
The pilots posting in their uniforms and getting fired takes the cake.

There absolutely is. Friendships and families are changing based on reactions to CK. Office relationships are changing. The trash are revealing themselves.

I'm not saying this..
I'm saying let the employer wash it out.

People on the left are so focused on simply winning the argument that they can’t actually debate. It’s a win at all costs mentality even if you’re 100% wrong.

But my point is using their same tactics that we shamed for years.
the “tactics” aren’t the issue. It’s the reason for employing them.
Put another way, the act of “cancelling” someone doesn’t encompass all elements of the phenomenon.
One key element is the result. The other key element is the reason.
Probably not a great analogy, but we all hate unlawful searches and seizures. The Fourth Amendment has been shat upon as badly as the First or close to it.
But I don’t bristle when cops obtain a proper warrant to search a home.

Exactly this.
It happens every day, all day.
You live in a democracy, you don't work in one.

How many times have you repeated this dumbass phrase in your dumbass thread? And how many more times will you do it before you realize that’s what’s happening?
