Our society celebrates numbing our pain instead of dealing with it like adults. The same thing is done with alcohol, drugs, etc. Some people can drink responsibly, but a lot of people don’t. Who thought giving people drugs that frick with your brain wouldn’t lead to this?

I’m strongly against the current trends of transgenders as culture is currently pushing, but I feel like you have a very reasoned take and always appreciate you sharing from a tempered take and using facts and your experience, not just emotion or feels.
Don’t agree with the “letting them wear whatever” in this instance but I think it comes from a place of reasonableness.

Thank you, but I really need to reel it in here at TD, because I’m getting a lot more upset than usual with some of these threads. It’s just wearing on me, as I’ve seen a lot of anti-LGBTQ posts on social media as of late. The LSU Facebook Pride post was particularly brutal along with some of my veteran pages.

You already mentioned this earlier this week. Nearly word for word. And that’s “Drag Queen Story Hour”, not transgender persons, those are Drag Queens. It’s a big difference, I.e. they are not one in the same.

Excuse my ignorance between a drag queen and a tranny but miss hot mess is certainly on a kids show on PBS as a tranny. It’s no longer about acceptance.... the left is actively recruiting kids to question their identity/gender. It’s beyond sick.

The heavy marketing for this from our ruling class and their entertainment/news industry is rubbing people the wrong way. Especially as it relates to transgender athletes and the scholarships earmarked for female athletes.
If this kind of thing is something an adult needs to do, then more power to them. But IMO no one under the legal age of consent should be doing anything permanent or irreversible.

Funny, that is the opposite of how many people feel. Most are sick and tired of being told that being trans is acceptable and you are an evil monster if you disagree with it. Most are tired of their daughters having to compete in sports against biological men and I don't think any sane person is OK with a man (former or not) going to the same restroom with their wife or daughter but we are being told these things are not only OK but we must accept them.
You obviously don't see it because of your situation but you have your head in the sand if you don't see the building backlash is a direct correlation of things progressing too far without many being given the choice if they agree or not.

Don’t misunderstand, I am in no way endorsing it, and I think pride month is ridiculous. I have major problems with companies that fly the flag this month.
I’m totally fine with adults making the decision to do it. I appreciate the takes off people that differ than mine that can say “wait till your an adult and make a more informed decision.”
You’ve always had that approach and I appreciate it.

The first google hit for “Miss Hot Mess” literally says she’s a drag Queen. Just because she wears a huge wig, loud clothes, and tons of makeup, doesn’t make her trans.
If parents don’t want to let their children watch it, then turn it off.
