I'll be interested to see if any states or government entities try to mandate vaccinations. That will really piss the anti-mask side off.

Ummmmm. If you have concerns, it should be directed at the vaccine method type. Not speed.
Last years flu shot? Strains were identified in late March to crash develop for availability before fall of the same year.
Method they are using is actually faster than that, but more time is going to testing than typical.

I’m not an anti-vaxxer (all kids, my wife, and I are all up to date) but I will not take the first iteration of a rushed vaccine forced into mass production.

By a good margin as well.
I'm not a huge covid 19 conspiracy theorist, but having a working vaccine for a less than a year old cornoavirus (no successful vaccine has ever been produced in history) is a huge red flag.
It's gets nutty when you see who's funding it or involved.
Regardless of the reality of the situation, it smells like shite and someone is about to make a huge, massive amount of money
Not to mention they are rushing trials.

Difference there is they have well established methods for producing it. They just need to see what strain.

There are veterinary coronavirus vaccines.
This vaccine builds off 10 years of Sars vaccine research which was a coronavirus. The research has not progressed to human trials because of a lack of need.
The Moderna and Oxford vaccines have proven to be safe and effective in peer reviewed studies. I don't know anyone with an MD saying they won't take it once it is approved, but people with Music, buisness, and education degrees are the real experts.
