You can be sure I won't be getting one that early. I'll let about 100 million others be guinea pigs for a few years before I take the vaccine that was rushed out faster than any other in modern medical history.

Moderna will have results from phase 3 trials in September.
Baton Rouge and Jefferson Parish have been chosen as sites for the trial. I have volunteered.
End of this year/early 2021 is when there will be enough of the vaccine for everyone.

A vaccine is no cure or panacea.
Vaccines are generally not effective against corona viruses. At best it would be like the flu vaccine, but even that’s unlikely. Is the flu still around?
If vaccine is effective, what will the enforcement be? Mandatory? Schools, hospital employees? How to distribute this extremely expensive and rare brand new vaccine with unknown Long term effects?
We’re going to have to learn to live with this virus and anyone placing hopes only for a vaccine while not preparing for other scenarios is a fool.
