I really like Canes.
Good food and excellent service. Probably better than every fast food chain not named Chick-Fil-A.
But the prices are getting ridiculous.
Fast food prices have gotten out of control and it’s best to avoid them going forward.

I probably eat Canes a half dozen times a year and maybe Chicken Shack a dozen times a year. Combined, they make up a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent of my annual food and drink spend, which... I'm not going to post

Let’s ignore the fact that you’re the third or fourth person to make this same argument.
Pointing out that people continue to complain about a subject that is entirely within their control (i.e. fast food chicken is too expensive so what should I do for dinner?) is not the same as ignoring content you disagree with.
Half the threads on the OT are some version of “can you believe this bullshite this person said??” And using your logic the only proper response should be “well then if you don’t like what they said you don’t have to click on it.”

Not just the price increase, as I've noticed the pieces of chicken have been shrinking, a lot it seems.

It does. I’ve never actually paid attention to what size it is, but I think the combos come with a medium drink. So those prices are showing upgrades to either large drinks or lemonade.

The only way out of our pending debt crisis is to inflate the currency slowly and allow wages and taxes to increase with the rising costs of items. Yes eventually a Big Mac may cost 50 dollars and a Box Combo a C Note, but wages will need to increase to at least 200-350 an hour.

I love canes too but yeah, I went the other day and that might be my last time. The prices are just ridiculous at this point.
