Agreed. She did not break the law. However, I'll bet she broke the policy of this franchise, and will pay the price for it.

No, no it isn't. Your politics are not a protected class.

And Smoothie King can determine if the employe will keep her job based on the video.

Catering to only half the population is not a smart business practice.

The business does. I bet if you asked Smoothie King they do not stand behind this decision.

Yep, and she'll get it, unless SK really fights hard.

And then she'll probably still get it, unfortunately.

I think she should say have a great day a few more times.
Somehow her dumbass thinks that her grind to be nice makes it ok.
She will have a donation page set up by tomorrow after she gets fired and C oo nz and TT9 will be her biggest cheerleader.

I'm not on X, but I sure hope someone on here follows this story and posts some of her comments after the firing has occurred. I'm sure she will be "shocked and appalled".

We need dumbasses in this world. If we got rid of them, then we'd become the lowest on the intelligence rankings.

Of note, Smoothie King was started in Kenner but has no more connection here outside of naming rights for the place where a terribly ran team plays.

A South Korean franchisee bought it and the HQ is in Coppell, TX

What a dishonest threat title. You need to apply to MSNBC.

If corporate feels like the bad press is worth it, she does.

But I'm betting they don't.

Change your title a-hole.

"Smoothie King employee doesn't want to serve Trump supporters."

That young lady is a representative smoothie king. They can distance themselves from her and the opinions she, while being paid to represent them, stated.

Maybe they shouldn’t hire liberals from now on?

One of the few times you are correct.

This dumbass, however, is about to suffer the consequences of exercising that right.

I wouldn't say
quote:

Smoothie King does not like serving Trump supporters...

It's more like "this particular annoying person that works at Smoothie King does not like serving Trump supporters"

SK will just give a generic "we are coaching our staff" and "we respect all opinions"

The owner of the franchise will give her shitty shifts until she quits and the world will forget about this before all that happens.

Although you are probably right, technically it is possible that she was instructed to do this by her employer(s). Again, not likely. But in the video she sure does seem to be speaking for the franchise. So I'll allow it. Until SK comes out and corrects her actions, at any rate.
