When Todd Graves put a second HQ in Dallas, one thing he commented on was Louisiana lacks the personnel necessary to run a large corporation. And let's face it, we have exported our best and brightest to states like Texas that offers better opportunity and gives that state the ability to groom and produce people that can run a large corporation.
And this is why big companies that move here can’t fully staff themselves.

Actually, you don't typically become a chain by putting out bad product/service. Not for long at least.
Your attitude is exactly why LA will continue to lose huge revenue streams and employment opportunities to Texas and the rest of the country. Ask Detroit officials how they feel about industries drying up and businesses moving to other cities/states.

Becoming? Frisco has been Corporate HQ for a long time.

Well, Plano was before Frisco

Louisiana decided to not be pro business decades ago. Other states decided to become pro business

Louisiana caters to unproductive culcha, not corporate employees.

The savings on Corporate & personal income taxes alone will be enough to offset the $2.4 million the state gave them 5 years ago as an incentive to stay.

And which corporate HQs would that be? Jamba Juice?
Plano is what you’re trying to refer to.

North Dallas suburbs...there, is that better?

Then I guess he can no longer be the official chicken strips of LSU or the Saints....we should hold that against him and his brother for the mid term elections this Fall.
In all serioussness, a lot of the excuses that they give are high end bullshite. The absence of a state income tax is big and the fact that places like Frisco essentially give the land or office space away initially for next to nothing is more of an incentive.....they could do much the same on the Northshore , if they wanted to and induce the right personnel to relocate....follow the money, or lack thereof that they have to pay, always follow the money

Comparing the northshore to upper middle class suburbs.

Louisiana has always been and continues to be a hotbed for Pro Corrupt Government. Mexico & Venezuela are considering contracting their gov't's to La. since they are realizing they simply can't compete.
Also, Louisiana's continuous breeding of 'Pro Entitlement Gov't' voting populace ensures that we will continue to grow this gov't "industry".
So Texas...don't even try!

People want to move to North Dallas. It's weird to me as well, but true.
The sad reality is we don't have enough high-management types here in LA, corporate finance types, etc.
They all moved away after college. Good thing we gave them TOPS!!!!
