No. Is not a good thing. But being a bad excuse of a father has consequences. Guess some here don't understand that. It's not about a child's feelings. This guy could easily go off the next time on his kid.

You ever think,
that maybe this intervention could help the dad change?
Thinking, no.
what did the dad do?

Again, for all the officers that post on TD, wanna know why more and more people are hating police?

Crap like this.

So, don’t get upset and have knee jerk reactions to people because they don’t like officers when crap like this keeps showing up.

More or less, just don’t be a huge vagina and let petty and minor stuff bother you just because you have a badge

They should also be arrested for disturbing the peace.

Because their father cussed at them when they were kids.
The cop is saving lives.

If you can not respect the law then you need to get arrested. That is the problem with us. There use to be a time when that kind of language was not to be used around women and kids. I stand with the officers.

That’s true. If these cops weren’t busy arresting this guy, they could have been stationed on every corner of Slidell knocking needles out of junkies arms.

Poor use of resources. Poor.

Not saying the cop was 100% right.

I will say that when on the street, a cop has all of the leverage on you. If you want to argue with the cops like this guy did they will show you who has the leverage and this will be the outcome.

You are only on even ground with cops once you are in the courtroom in front of a judge. The concept is really that simple.

He's going to get paid.

Idiotic cop.

Just because you have a badge doesn't mean you can arrest someone for doing something you don't like.

Dumbass missed the memo.

No he's not. He was technically disturbing the peace. Charges will be dropped but nothing is going to happen to the cop.

And I am 100% being serious.

I rarely acted up in public.. And I know you can't do that today, but I see kids and how their parents try to get them to not act like heathens, but I bet they knew if their parents wouldn't be scared to slap the shite out of them in front of everyone they would not do whatever the hell they wanted.

When you live in a nanny state that passes new ordinances for every thought that comes into their head, laws are put on the books and often not applied anywhere near correctly by law enforcement.

I don't know the fact here. I can tell you that if you follow around any white trash or ghetto momma for about 2 minutes they will blast their kids with curse words.

If the cop had been poked by a heroin needle while patting the guy down this could be in the running for most Slidell story ever.
