Shitty genes. Poor kid...

How is that allowed? A cop can arrest you for cussing? Is this not infringement upon free speech?
It’s not, Slidell is gonna lose a lot of money if the guy goes after them. A town in Florida learned this the hard way for arresting the guy with the sticker that said “I eat arse.”

If you can not respect the law then you need to get arrested. That is the problem with us. There use to be a time when that kind of language was not to be used around women and kids. I stand with the officers.
The cop doesn’t know the law, if the article is truthful and all he did was cuss and not make a scene or something. Cussing is protected by the first amendment. This trumps whatever this cop thinks is the law and he shouldn’t be respected.

But being a bad excuse of a father has consequences.

frivolous as this does not help the child. The officer was on a power trip and was not concerned with child.
The child has now seen his father go to jail. You think that is a good thing?
I guess you have to ask yourself is this guy being an issue for the public?
If it's OK to live on public streets and sidewalks and poop and pee on public sidewalks then I guess it should be OK to curse in public at your children.
Where does decency and freedom collide

It’s not infringement on his speech when they arrest him for saying something that is deemed not allowed?

Do I spy a "Classi" with an "I" and a little dick hanging off the "C" that fricks the "l" out of the "a-s-s"?

Prime example of how Pigs today create little boys who wear makeup. Just when Dad was making a man out of him, that Thin Blue Lyin' strikes again.
Cops are killing this great country of ours.

well, that guy should be arrested anyway.

This guy is a complete turd, terrible parent, terrible example to his child.....BUT the cop is a moron too. Should have just asked him to move along and get the hell out of the situation. Overreaction on both sides.

Definitely trashy to curse your kids
Us Boomers were beaten and cursed at, and we turned out fine.

A dollar worth of authority and a nickel worth of sense

Yep, cause saying “yes sir” and moving on would have been too much for his repressed life to take. Lesson learned i suspect
