I think you are confusing common sense and logic with extremism.

to be fair, the big left wholeheartedly believes that their stances are also common sense and logical

I like how any time someone points out the extreme right is just as bad as the extreme left they get a flood of down votes.

Well he made that comment in a video of someone who is not "extreme right," blasting the extreme left. Why did he even make that comment? It really had no pertinence. And what "extreme right" was he even talking about? When pressed he went on to equate the "extreme right" with Westboro Baptist Church. That is laughable.

Quite frankly he was drawing a false equivalency to try and paint the extreme right as the same political force with the same tactics as the extreme left, which is flat out bullshite.

Downvotes deserved.

Who do you include in the extreme left?

Twitter suppresses viewpoints.
Apples podcast app suppresses viewpoints.

"Companies can do whatever they want with their products." Ok, sure, but let's not pretend "the extreme left" is just a few ugly people in college.

That's what built the county you live in and made it the greatest nation in the history of Earth. The screaming constantly offended pussies and social reform nutjobs are the ones trying to tear it to pieces. But you do you Lacour.

The extreme left is no better than the extreme right. Both need to be told to GTFO and their bullshite won't be allowed to sway the political process for everyone else who can think reasonably. I know a lot of you agree with what he said, and it's not that I even disagree, but I do think if you're going to be a comedian you should be funny. He was dramatic, but not funny.

This, in essence, is what is so frustrating about trying to discuss any of this. You are not intelligent enough to understand what just happened in that clip. It just went right over your head. He is a comedian and wanted to be funny, but was never given the chance. So, he let them have it with his time on stage.

The extent of your comments so far have been, "I can't believe he's getting downvotes," "extremes are bad," "guns and Bibles,"racists."

You have said NOTHING insightful whatsoever nor have you recognized or addressed any of the points made to the contrary.

The frick outta here..

Classic and part of the problem. I'm sure you're being tongue and cheek (I desperately hope so). This is a piece of the entire issue that these three speakers were trying to get across.

The progressive left doesn't want to hear ideas or opinions they don't agree with. They, as in the video, shout over people with terms like "racist" and "misogynist" and "transphobic" without actually talking it out and hearing someone else's point.

That's why the Westboro example of the extreme right doesn't necessarily fit THIS argument because they're not trying to suppress speech. They're exercising their first amendment rights to protest and speech. As bad as they are, they have that right.

If we can't have an open exchange of ideas and freedom of speech in today's society, what do we really have?

Blah, blah, blah

We are taking over. There is nothing you can do bout it. Just continue to get angry and go ahead and have a heart attack

The left rules. We cannot be stopped.

This guy should be running for president.

Meh, I'm glad he said it, but he's in a position where it's acceptable to rail on folks. He just said what's on most peoples' minds, we just aren't allowed to lest our lives and careers be temporarily derailed. But regardless, for this I thank him. It helps ease the frustration of being forced to hold my tongue.
