Well, I know why. They don't want to lose business, but in this situation, I would think that the reason they put something with the confederate flag, on display is because there are people who shop there, who it will appeal to.
Not to mention, I would think the average person would see that video and think "that women is insane". Evidently it wasn't a big deal to other people who were shopping there so I doubt there will be many people who will say "that's it. I am not going there anymore. I saw that confederate flag, but it really made that woman freak out so I am not going there anymore".

Disclaimer: I completely disagree with slavery of any type down to my core. Slavery was not, and never will be ok with me.

But, the employees did go a little overboard with her. If they had not flipped her off, called her names and followed her outside, they would still have jobs.
Yes, I'd love to see every person like this woman shut down and be told to go frick themselves, but the employees needed to act like employees. What she was doing is like bitching at a waiter over the quality of the food or yelling at the Cox help line person because your bill is too high. They should have just told her to take it up with the ownership.
If they'd done that, I wouldn't have to live with the knowledge that this shrill idiot got what she wanted, and is now emboldened to continue forcing people to do what she wants. That's the real tragedy here.
