This is why we don't call them "liberals" anymore. They aren't. They're leftists (Marxists). Their mentality is that they are right, everyone else is wrong and everyone else should not even be allowed to speak.
I worked in DC for years, and was fairly liberal when I got there. Conservatives will at least grin and bear someone with whom they don't agree. Leftists try to shout down and silence those with whom they disagree. They're like bitchy little children, narcissistic, elitist and superficial to boot.

Over and over and over again. All you need do is LISTEN to Trigglypuff, or an Antifa demonstration, or the myriad protests during the Bush 43 administration, or occupy Wall Street. Violent, loud, sloganeering that only get more violent and loud when even quiet rational discourse is attempted.

She doesn't know her history. The current American flag (minus a number of stars) flew over slavery many years more than any Confederate flag.

It hasn't, but facts and accurate history are wasted on the Left. The ones who DO know, have their agenda which takes precedence over reality. The ones that only know slogans, can't be bothered to learn or to care.

The same American flag that flew over the Nations Capital / White House when the 13 Amendment? was passed? Emancipation? Proclamation signed? Civil Rights & Voting Rights Act signed?
The American flag that 200,000 Blacks were allowed to serve under to fight for the freedom of 4 million people? The same flag taken into Battles that would eventually end slavery?
Ever heard of redemption? The US flag has redeeming qualities.
