I think what people have the biggest issue with is when we go to the grocery stores on a budget, trying to save money here and there, and then see these welfare queens with their little rainbows of different hued chirrens from different daddies pushing carts full of steaks and shrimp and boiled crawfish and crabs and brand name shite, eating better than working class folks.
And then watch them pull out that EBT card or LA purchase card and pay for it all. Then pull out a wad of cash to pay for their liquor and cigarettes.

That bothers people who are working and trying to make ends meet.

Not real proud to admit, but I had a family member come up to me to proudly announce that they were now getting EBT (food stamps). I tried to explain that it wasn't something you should really be proud of. Not only did they not understand that but they also tried to tell me that it wasn't the same as food stamps.
