He was a better Dumbledore. Richard Harris was way too frail.

He’ll always be who I picture as Dumbledore.

He was best known for nearly flipping a “Reasonably Priced” Suzuki Liana on the final corner of the Top Gear test track. The corner was subsequently named after him.

I thought Richard Harris was a great Dumbledore for the first two movies as those were more kid friendly. I didn't think Gambon was all that great in 3 and 4 but he was perfect for playing the role of who Dumbledore became in the later books and movies.

Richard Harris in his 50's would have been a bad assed Dumbledore

Awesome movie.

It's amazing to me that they replaced one of the biggest characters in one of the biggest franchises of all time and didn't really miss much of a beat.

My local news made it a point to mention that an autopsy was still pending and there was no official cause of death.

He was great in layer cake. Underrated, under the radar movie.

I agree with that. It took me a minute with him also. His approach to the role was different than what we’d seen in the first two movies.

I always wondered if that scene was on him or a director choice. There were a of issues with the Goblet of Fire movie.
