Yeah I went down to some more remote beaches the times I have stayed there. Hang out with local fishermen there. Ask the guys at the tackle shop. I tried both directions but didn’t do much.

I didn’t know u could catch snook there.

I was wondering about that. Don't you have to go around Tampa to start finding snook?

I was just in Watercolor for a week. Fishing lines anywhere near the beaches are white trash

Surf fishing on popular beaches is acceptable early mornings and late afternoons when the crowd is not in the water.

Finally somebody has the right answer. It’s not about beach location, just fish very early or late when the beach is empty and kids aren’t running around.

Having fishing lines in the water when there’s tons of people swimming is terrible.

This is the correct answer. Surf fishing a crowded beach once a bunch of people show up is shitty. Fish early in the morning but once the families with kids show up around 8am it’s time to stop or move to a remote part of the beach.

Down voters you’re crazy. If I get there get my poles set up and get my chair and umbrella up first u should be courteous and go to a different location if u dont like it or get fricked.

Same as the hotels on the beach putting up the lawn chair and moving your lawn chair while you’re swimming early in the am as the sun comes up. If you’re there first find a new spot the beach is free and open to anyone if they are not set up yet. The early bird gets the worm, beach up to high tide mark is open to everyone until set up

Setting up multiple poles on a busy beach to catch trash fish is the ultimate white trash baw vacation move.

Lmfao if you live at the beach area where else do you go?

Travel away from the area closest to your residence???

If you live there your a local, you deal with the snow birds day to day they come and go. I’m gunna swim the buoys and fish the jetties every morning that I’m not in the boat or working

I would get some friends and start growing the football from both sides of your fishing set up. Probably have some bad throws hit you rig a few times, but we would be polite and apologize each time.

Hey it's a free beach right, and you just have that 1' area. All good right?

He set up in a rental chair area where he rented some chairs. He picked a spot where he knew others were gonna occupy.

If it were a public beach access and the others brought their own chairs and bitched, that would be one thing. But he went to where he knew others would be.
