I'm Baptist but this is still beautiful.

Silent Night in Time Square

Even more remarkable is that this presentation took place on Time Square.

I was wondering the whole time I was watching, why you felt the need to say, “I’m Baptist, but…”

Then I saw it right at the end.

Oh well, those Mormons sure aren’t afraid to put themselves out there for their faith. And they typically know how to keep their messaging on the agreed upon tenets of Christian faith, and not the strange parts.

Mormons are one of the last denominations of Christianity that won’t submit to the alphabet group. Good on them for doing this

It is amazing how they blur the lines.

Still a great thing to see in Time Square.

Mormonism has become a super-large, corrupt corporation masquerading as a religion with just one of its investment funds worth well over 100 BILLION dollars. They own a ton of real-estate and they continue to rake in 5-6 BILLION every year from tithes from its members alone. Yet, their spending on humanitarian efforts is extremely low compared to their income. This Times Square production is two things:

1. A promotion aimed - not at potential converts - but at its own, current members - they are losing members in the USA. Videos of that production have been forwarded and circulated big time to its members.

2. They have so much money they don't know what to do with it - well, they do seem to know to spend as little as possible doing the things Jesus taught like helping the poor and sick.

Someone commented on the Mormons stance on LGBT issues - Mark my words - They will reverse their policies on LGBT issues when the current old-guard all die off and they will present it like its a revelation from God. (Just like they did with their policies on race in the 1970's). LGBT issues have become a huge obstacle for the LDS Church - especially out west where most of its wealthy members reside.

(I'm an ex-Mormon who follows the news and actions of that church very closely)

Why is this downvoted? Mormons do many great things and are friendly people. Go to Utah and youll meet people even nicer than the south. Every time I go, nice people and no preaching. I consider myself moderate and probably disagree with them on some social issues but looking around society today, I wont fault them one bit.
