I've never been fired, I've only been working for 5 years, though.

That's a pretty fancy way to say "talking shite". We're you working for some theater major dropout or something?
Close. A Cajun chef.

I was fired from a small grocery store for stealing some frozen strawberries. It worked in my favor. I got a better paying job at a larger store paying more per hour. We could eat a few FRESH strawberries on the job too.

Never fired. Held my last job 33+ years before I retired.

got fired one time...in college...tried desperately to get a weekend off in order to get up some hay at a farm my buddy was working...we would work Friday to Sunday, square bails....and get paid handsomely (twice as much as my normal job at the time)...regular job refused me the time off...after I gave them plenty of notice....and begged....so I went and worked the field that weekend, and didn't show to work at the dealership (I detailed cars)...came back to work on Monday...fired.....I made a shite ton of money for a 19 year old in one weekend...got a new regular job on Tuesday, and got a call on Wednesday from the dealership asking me to come back...nope....ya'll fricked up...my only experience being fired...I'm 33 now

Only kinda been fired. I took on a second summer job in college valet parking at the Argosy Casino. It sucked. Called up to see if I could have off for Bonaroo (was gonna quit if I couldn't) and he said they checked my driving record and I couldn't valet park cars any more. Haha

I cut grass for a guy my first college summer who absolutely should have fired me.
Also, I told off an owner in a resignation speech. Gave 30 days notice. He showed up the next day and told me don't bother. Learned a very valuable lesson that day.

I got fired from a restaurant once while in college. A week later they called me and told me they made a mistake and offered me my job back. I took it back. Does that count?

They'll probably check my internet history as I post this and I won't be able to check in this thread anymore.
